Through a partnership with The MET High School, we have been fortunate enough to have Alexander Bressan joining our team as a Junior Designer for the Spring trimester. Read about Alex’s goals for the duration of his internship and make sure to reach and welcome him to our growing team!
Alexander Bressan is currently a senior at The Met High School. Throughout his high school career, he has been learning about graphic design, web development, and accounting. He has taken various classes such as Quickbooks, Accounting l & ll, and Intro to Engineering. He’s also met with various people from his fields of interest to learn about their experiences and struggles throughout their professional journeys, so he can have more ideas and knowledge about these fields.
Alex is on a path towards graduating in the spring of 2020 and looking to enroll at RISD for their graphic design program.

What are you hoping to gain from this internship?
I’m hoping to strengthen my professional skills, make new connections, and learn more about the creative industries. I’m excited to gain first-hand experience developing websites, creating graphics, and attending professional business meetings and seeing how they run and how people interact. I’m a hands-on and visual learner, so I’m hoping to really gain real-world experience with marketing, web development, and graphic design, and business in general.
What skills or strengths are you hoping to improve on?

What types of professionals would you like to connect with?
Designers, accountants, web developers, or professionals related to these fields. I’m hoping to learn about others’ experiences and ideas of the industry. I like learning about what they know and what they have been through hardships and all. It gives me a new perspective and ideas on careers I can pursue in the future.
What motivates you?
The idea of being able to provide for myself and my family in the future without having to worry about how I’ll make it to the next day. My family and the fear of struggling is a big motivator.
